The Amsterdam-based publisher Rose Stories published 'KALIBER - Twintig keer twintiger zijn' in September 2021, after five months in which author Florence van Haar, the photographer Ruby Cruden, the editors, and I worked together. The look and feel should feature 20 female creatives, activists, and talents. As graphic and layout designer, I represent this through a delicate but bold serif display font. A playful serif typeface was chosen for body texts. The enormous diversity between stories is demonstrated through contrasts between large and small images.
This was my first book project in a commercial context and I obtained professional skills in communication, InDesign, and print specifications.
