Art Book Design and Production: We all come from somewhere.

For Dutch photographer Sanne Bovenberg, I designed a minimalist, sophisticated photobook, that conveys her works feeling, coming through in the choice of typography, scale, spacing, and tactility.

Along with graphic and layout design, prototyping with tactility played an important role in the process. A rough grey muskat paper was chosen for the personal introduction, written by Sanne. In contrast to those pages, a coated and sophisticated paper enhances the colors and liveliness of the photographs in the main book block.
